| Novell login does not come up. (There are no Cardinals on the screen.) | No error message | Check the back of the computer where the network cord plugs in. Make
sure this cord in properly attached to the computer and the wall socket.
Check to see if there are lights on the connection when it is on. If not, try changing the cord with a cord from another computer that is working. If this is a solution, tell us and we will get you a replacement cord. |
| Unable to access the Internet | "Firewall error" or "request timed out" or no error message at all. | Check another computer to see if you can get on.
Did you login to the Novell system? (Are there Cardinals on the desktop?) If not, try rebooting and follow the directions above. If you cannot get on from any machine, chances are that our ISP (Internet Service Provider) is down. |
