Superintendents Message

Dear Cardinal Country,

It is with immense pride and excitement that I officially step into the role of Superintendent of Whittemore-Prescott Area Schools! As a proud alumna, returning to serve this incredible "Cardinal Family" is a profound honor. I am deeply energized by the opportunity to honor our district's rich traditions while leading us toward a new standard of educational excellence.

To guide my transition, I have developed a comprehensive 90-Day Entry Plan focused on five core pillars: Board of Education-Superintendent Relations, Student Success, People & Culture, Service Excellence, and Stewardship. My absolute priority during these first few months is a collaborative leadership approach—one that is guided by our shared values and a steadfast dedication to every single student we serve.

To build that foundation, my first 30 days will be dedicated to a "Listen & Learn" phase. I will be reviewing student achievement data, analyzing our district resources, visiting our school buildings, and meeting individually with board members, principals, staff, and union leaders. However, the most important part of this phase involves you. I want to hear your thoughts, your ideas, and your vision for our schools. I will be hosting a series of community "Listen and Learn" meet-n-greet sessions for our families, students, and community members. Every piece of feedback gathered during these sessions will directly inform our long-term strategic roadmap to ensure we are building the future our students deserve.
